Barack Obama becomes President

Today at 12:06 Barack Obama became President. At noon, George W. Bush was sworn out of office. We had no president for 6 minutes. I think it is pretty cool that my class got to watch Barack Obama sat the Oath. We were able to watch the inauguration in class during are Writers' Workshop time. There were millions of people in front of main street. I really wished I was there to witness Barack Obama. I can't believe that Barack Obama is the first African American president. Barack Obama's speech was 15 minutes long. It was super long.
